## What it is

The Internet Archive is a non-profit digital library where anyone can upload collections, including sample packs, drum-machine recordings and sound-effect libraries.

## Best for

Whole packs and collections: drum machine sets, vintage sound-effect libraries and community sample packs.

## Licence

Licences are typed in by uploaders and not verified, and some uploads are commercial libraries shared without permission. Sound Server lists only items whose uploader states CC0, public domain or CC BY(-SA), filters out known commercial sample CDs, and never rates these licences better than check the terms.
